What personal information is being collected? Personal information about you may be collected by Save Christison Park Action Group (SCPAG). For example name, address, phone number and email. Also, some ‘yes’ or ‘no’ tick in box data may be collected.
Purpose of Collection SCPAG collects personal information, including campaign related information, about you in order to send you updates, for petitions, surveys and campaign information relating to environmental matters of interest to SCPAG, such as particular council projects.
Use of Personal Information SCPAG will only use your personal information it collects about you to process and provide you with SCPAG membership information or invite you to participate in local surveys or campaigns relating to local or environmental projects.
Who will SCPAG disclose your personal information to? SCPAG may disclose your personal information to core members for campaign purposes. Also, with your written consent, SCPAG may disclose your personal information (such as name, address and phone number) to local Councils or NSW Parliament for petition purposes, as evidence that you have signed a petition and that such petition is genuine and not made up. Such petitions may be tabled and filed in the NSW Parliament’s archives. We may also disclose your name contact for the purpose of Zoom meetings.
Will SCPAG use collected personal information for marketing purposes? If you opt in, we may at a later stage send you information about SCPAG and its upcoming events and projects.
Your Rights You have a right to access the personal information SCPAG holds about you, to correct that personal information and to make a complaint about SCPAG’s handling of personal information.
